Is it comparable to John Sandford or Elly Griffiths? Absolutely not, but I do believe that there's talent here. One person found this helpful.
This is the 2nd of the series which I am reading in order. I am becoming a true fan of this series and am anxious to read the next in the series. Having read Reichs and Cromwell, I do not agree with author comparisons. Thread is forensic science used in solving intriguing crimes. Each author has their own unique style. Diane Fallon is a superwoman. She has two full-time jobs plus she solves mysteries old and new.
While she has a love life, this book is NOT a romance. Connor tends to be greatly into descriptions of the way a human body is put together, sometimes to a tedious degree. But I skim over the boring parts to the mystery and find myself content. I have now read 2 of the Diane Fallon Forensic series and looking forward to the rest!!! Beverly Connor it was a stroke of luck to find an exciting and intelligent author that until you open the book you have no idea what wonderful story you will be reading!
